Calder Stewart Cycling Series 2018
Saturday 20th October 2018
Round 6 has set the cat amongst the pigeons with a short sharp 26km "sprint" from Te Ana Marina Lyttelton to Diamond Harbour the day before the Hell of the South. The Bays roads are well travelled by riders from Canterbury and outside the district. It is the number one training ground for locals and is one of the most beautiful rides in Canterbury.
The short distance will guarantee a fast and aggressive event but riders need to be cautious of the last 750m as it goes up the very evil and steep Hunters Road. The combination of a short event and the uphill finish will make this an explosive R6!
Full series points, SBS KOM points and bonus points on the finish climb will add to the drama!
